Everything that was said about "metal-free dentistry" applies all the more for implants, because implants are located not only in the oral cavity but directly in the jaw bone.
The huge advantage of ceramic implants is that they have no antenna effect, no toxic effect and also hardly irritate the immune system – or at least to a much lesser extent than metals.
It has long been known that, in the case of titanium implants, only as due to abrasion when the implant is screwed into the bone, particles of titanium get into lymph channels and lymph nodes, where they do not exhibit a very neutral biological behavior.
In Dr Heiss's practice we prefer ceramic implants to root fillings because, due to the remaining bacteria, fungi and pain toxins, teeth with root fillings always become interference fields or focal infections and thus burden the organism.
